White Christmas

Well, it looks like we're going to have a white Christmas in Portland. We have nearly a foot of snow right now and seems like it's going to snow more tonight and tomorrow.

the End Is Near.....

The end of this whole house debacle that is. We sign for our new house this afternoon. I think we'll get the keys on Monday! Woo hoo! We plan on moving in next weekend. Baby Girl is excited for Mommy and Daddy to get her new room all set up!

Halfway There!

So, as of yesterday, I am halfway done with this pregnancy! At first it seemed like time was crawling. Now I feel like it's going so fast and she'll be here before I know it! I am so excited to meet her!

No, we won't tell you her name until she's born.  Deal with it.

Finn Has Arrived!

Laurel (see post below) gave birth to Finn on Nov. 2. We got to meet him yesterday. He's too precious! Congrats Laurel!

Meant to Be?

So, looks like the house may work out after all. Maybe it's just the house for us. We'd hoped it would work out all along, so we were really excited to hear they had come up with the money for repairs! Hopefully things will start progressing at a speedy pace now. We'd like to be settled in before Christmas.....

On another exciting note, tomorrow morning at 8am, we find out if we're having a boy or girl! I am very excited to start thinking about names, nursery colors, and baby clothes shopping!

Back to the Drawing Board

So, looks like things are not going to work out with the house. Sad, yes, but the seller is not being cooperative. We will find another house. Maybe the perfect house is out there waiting for us.

But there are so many other things to be thankful for! Sounds cheesy, but it's so true! :)

Third time's the charm!  This was my third general election and after not agreeing with me the first two times, finally the USA agrees with me.  

I can't remember being this proud to be an American.  Where's my Flag Pin?

Goodbye Jessup House

Today (at five pm pacific standard time) we said goodbye to our home of two years... please leave your memories or lack thereof in the comments. I think Zoe will miss Milo more than we miss any part of the house.

Also, please think good thoughts about MF Doom releasing his newest album, as it didn't come out today and that made me sad. :(

The House!

So, we came to an agreement as to the price of the house we want! So, now it's all the exciting home inspections and sewer scopes and all the other fun stuff that comes with buying a house. Hopefully everything will work out and we can move in a little before Thanksgiving!

House Hunting

Well, we sold our house after it being on the market for only 3 days! Yeah for that! So, we started looking for new houses last Saturday. We found two houses we really like. We put an offer in on one last night that is a cosmetic fixer but very cool. It's still very close to MAX and very close to the Kenton downtown area. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

We had our first ultrasound on September 12. The baby looks a little alien at the moment, but a cute alien! Everything is going really well so far. Morning sickness is finally over (I think)!
