I know, it seems that's all I blog about lately...I just can't help it!

Kenley had her 2 week check up last Thursday. She was within and ounce and a half of her birth weight. She probably would have been at birth weight if she hadn't puked in the waiting room! Woops! I think we rocked her too much in her car seat. She's now 21 and 3/4 inches long. She's going to be tall like her Papa! She amazes us everyday and we just adore her!

And Baby Makes 3!

Baby Kenley has arrived! She was born on Friday April 17, 2009 at 4:27pm. Her full name is Kenley Rae (after my grandfather) Signe (after my mother in law) Brunner. She weighed 10 pounds 1 ounce and was 21 1/4 inches long. She's a very tall thin baby! I ended up having a C Section (I was planning an all natural water birth! That's why I never wrote an official birth plan. I figured Kenley would do what she had to do) after only a few hours of labor. She's worth all the extra that comes with a C Section! I'd do it again a thousand times for her.

Kenley, Phil and I are all doing well. We're adjusting to her sleep schedule, but she really sleeps a lot, day and night, so we're lucky.

Bad Baby!!!!

So, I'm about a week overdue now....exciting. It's been a hard week (for other reasons), but we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little girl. She's made it clear she'll come when she's ready, so now we wait....

Waiting....

I'm still pregnant...I'm technically due on Wednesday, but I really felt like I was going to go early....no such luck. Saw the midwife this morning, and as much as I tried, they wouldn't give me any indication of how long they thought it may be. Sigh. The waiting game will continue.

March Madness Sucks!

37 Days and Counting

So, there are 37 days to go in my pregnancy. One of the couples in our childbirth class gave birth early last week, and they were only due a week before us! That really made me realize I need to get shit done! Phil painted the ceiling in the nusery this weekend (everything on the 2nd floor of our house was yellow. I mean trim, walls, ceilings). So, now I can go in an spackle and we can paint this weekend. I'll feel much better once the nursery is set up, even though she probably won't use it for a while.

We are almost done with all of our baby classes. We did infant CPR this weekend and only have 2 more classes in our childbirth series.

I will try to get some pregnancy pics up in the next couple of days. I am getting requests from my family in KY for some!
